The Shows

The Autism Directory LIVE Shows are annual national events in North and South Wales
History of the Shows

The Autism Shows were launched in September 2017 at Cardiff City Stadium. This was a pilot to see if there was a need for such an event, and the feedback from over 1400 visitors confirmed that there certainly was – with 85% of feedback being good or very good.

In 2018 we put on three shows: North Wales (Llandudno),  Mid Wales (Aberystwyth) and again in South Wales (Cardiff). Feedback from over 3000 visitors at all shows was just as positive.

In 2019 we again did the South Wales Show in Cardiff, and now in 2021 we are back in both Llandudno (14th May) and Cardiff (24th Sept), having postponed our 2020 Shows due to the Coronavirus situation.

The aim of all the Shows is to bring easy and local access to the products and services that support the autism community, together in one place for a day so you can get to see and speak to them face to face.

The Shows are an exhibition of different organisations that serve the autism community which attend to provide their information to you on how they can help. There is also a great line up of seminar speakers, talks and workshops throughout the day on a variety of topics that are important to the autism community.

There are a number of exhibitors offering one-to-one clinics and there will also be a Support Zone where you can meet community organisations providing local support.

There is a Quiet Room, a Carers Corner and an Artists Corner showcasing the talents of adults on the spectrum.

The Shows also provide a great opportunity to meet other individuals, families and professionals that attend.
